Book Review Hannah Lee Kidder Little Birds

hello writers today we're doing a review of Hannah Lee Kidder new book little birds and since I like to judge books by what other people hate about them that's what we're gonna start with it was sort of hard finding things that

I didn't like about the book yeah there's like three things that I could come up with which are going to make me sound petty stupid and just annoying my Kindle app on my computer doesn't read the page numbers properly a second is that this was characterized by other people as dark dark in my head and dark as a theme or a literary genre are two different things well the book does touch on some serious life themes that aren't happy I wouldn't say that it was dark it just you know it deals with serious issues like rape and death and sickness and my third issue which actually has to deal with the book is that tea girl died that is just wrong on so many levels no why should you buy this book and why am i recommending it to you I don't like short stories but I really like this book I initially bought this book because I like Hanna Lee Kidder

 I got five dollars for a book I can support her and hey I'll get something out of it and I really wasn't expecting that much from the book short story just are not my cup of tea but holy crap there's such a mix of stories they're short stories there's flash fiction and then you even have some longer stories that are more developed and I enjoy every single one of them I think a problem with short stories is that because they're so short it's more difficult for a reader to connect with the character and put themselves into the story and this is not a problem that I had I was able to sympathize with the characters I could easily imagine the situation's and while

I was reading when I got to the end of it I was disappointed that there wasn't more to read because each one was compelling and just beautifully written so if you're looking for a collection of short stories that are well written or Christmastime is coming up maybe you want to offer it to somebody else as a present you should consider picking up her book little birds which I will leave all the information in the description below go get the book you guys know what to do when it comes to videos and if you don't you suck at the internet there's probably Skill share class for that and I'll see you guys next one Tot zines mijn appellants Hannah's descriptive abilities leave me in awe she is able to paint these vivid pictures it's so beautiful like ah it's just like a round of applause just go get the book guys for no other reason if you're an aspiring author and you want to see how to show not tell go get the book
